Characteristics and uses of EVA storage bag
EVA storage bag is an amorphous plastic, non-toxic, with a specific gravity of 0.95g/cm3 (lighter than water). The product has poor surface gloss, good elasticity, good flexibility, low mechanical strength, good fluidity, and easy processing and molding. High shrinkage rate (2%), EVA storage bag can be used as a carrier for color masterbatch.
EVA storage bag is a random copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. Has good flexibility, strength and toughness, low temperature resistance (still elastic at -58 ℃), weather resistance, stress cracking resistance, heat sealing, adhesion, tensile processability, transparency and gloss. At the same time, it has rubber like elasticity, excellent ozone resistance, non toxicity, good processing and dyeing properties, and good compatibility with fillers. EVA storage bags with different VA contents and relative molecular weights have different properties. When the melt index remains constant, an increase in VA content leads to an increase in elasticity, flexibility, adhesion, compatibility, transparency, and solubility; As the VA content decreases, its performance approaches that of polyethylene, with an increase in hardness, wear resistance, and electrical insulation. When the VA content is constant, the melt index increases, the softening point decreases, the processing performance and surface glossiness improve, but the strength decreases; On the contrary, when the melt index decreases, the relative molecular weight increases, and the impact resistance and stress cracking resistance improve.
